Fifeshire Crescent Alteration

Undertaken in collaboration with Wraight + Associates, this alteration and extension remodels a 1955 house by architect Ian Bowman to accommodate a modern family of six on generous gardens overlooking Tasman Bay.

Materials and detail follow the intent of the existing: new weatherboard claddings with vertical shiplapped relief, paint finished timber joinery, new matchstick ceilings referenced from internal wall panelling, Takaka stone and insitu concrete pathways and garden walls.
